Big opportunity! Your help is needed to reach the Survey’s 2025 Annual Appeal goal of $45K because, if we do, two anonymous donors have pledged to make a $15K gift our Godzala Research Fund. Give now, and thanks!

The Rosa and Raul Ferreira Young Entomologists Fellowship Fund remembers RI BioBlitz’s “beetle guy” who passed away in January. It will provide a fellowship annually to a 6th-12th grader to boost the insect team at BioBlitz and to further his/her progress toward a career in entomology. Read more about the Ferreira fund here. You can contribute to the Ferreira Fellowship Fund now using the DONATE button.

COMING SOON: BORIIS2, the Biota of Rhode Island Index System, the new biodiversity database. Thanks to Narragansett Bay Estuary Program, RI Conservation Stewardship Collaborative, Blackburn Labs, private donors, and the members of the Natural History Survey. Stay tuned.

Do you love what the Survey does for community based environmental science for Rhode Island? Wish you could chip in a few bucks to keep it going? Give “Buy Me A Coffee” a try. Thanks!

Back issues of the Rhode Island Naturalist, the Survey’s bulletin, is available here.
