Donate to the Annual Appeal

The Natural History Survey connects you with other people studying and conserving biodiversity in Rhode Island and with the latest information on rare species, pollinators, invasive species, and much more.

Membership dues, appeal donations, and private foundation grants account for about 50% of all the unrestricted or discretionary dollars we use for projects and programs. Every penny raised by the Survey stays in Rhode Island and supports LOCAL conservation and management efforts.

Whether you study animals, plants, and natural communities for a profession or a hobby, a gift to the Survey’s 2016 Annual Appeal improves your own work and that of your friends and neighbors.
