All the World’s Primates

All_The_Worlds_Primates_Front_CoverNoel Rowe, the editor of the new encyclopedic text, All the World’s Primates (Pogonias Press 2016), founded Primate Conservation, Inc. in 1992 after witnessing the destruction of a lowland forest in Madagascar. Since making its first grant in 1993, PCI has provided full, partial, or renewal funding for more than 650 projects in 29 countries with primate habitats. Rowe will talk about his new book and the state of primate conservation around the world.

Rowe’s talk will be preceded by the Natural History Survey’s 2017 Annual Meeting. The Annual Meeting includes a summary of the Survey’s past year and election of the Board of Directors.

A dessert reception takes place between 6 and 7, the meeting at 7, followed immediately by the talk.

Both the Annual Meeting and the talk are free and open to the public.
